Methods of Study

We at Whitehall believe that every child is capable of learning and each child is different and grows, learns and develops at their own pace. Children learn through observation, imitation, collaboration and concrete experiences. As per the new education policy NEP2020, teaching learning is holistic and multi-disciplinary. Every lesson taught promotes critical thinking, problem-solving and creativity. Students are encouraged to pursue learning based on their interests, strengths, and career goals.

As the new policy emphasizes on ensuring foundational literacy and numeracy skills, the school has adopted teaching methods that prioritize these skills and ensure proficiency.

To facilitate language skills amongst students, a third language Sanskrit along with Hindi and English have also been included in the curriculum. Personality development program with Wonder Brains’ have been introduced for all the grades, ensuring development of soft skills such as critical thinking, creative thinking, effective communication skills through theatre and drama. Senior students undergo career counselling. School Clubs promote and enhance knowledge of conversational/ debating skills, art, dance, sports and science related activities lead to enhancement of right attitude and aptitude amongst kids.

Computer and Value Education is an integral part of the curriculum where students are taught not only about the technology but also develop character, learn social harmony, sharpen their decision making skills and learn to become capable citizens.
