Promotion to the next class will depend upon a child's overall performance, which will include academic performance (40% marks in each subject) and his or her behavior in the school, in bus, classroom response, punctuality and regularity. Absenteeism during test and examinations will not be entertained and no re-test or examination will be taken. Student who, due to illness, is unable to sit for the final examination, but whose conduct and academic performance is good, may be promoted on the basis of that record. There will be no re-tests conducted or requests for promotion of a student declared as having failed will be entertained. If a student remains absent for a week or more, his/her name is likely to be struck off the school record.
