Inter-House Debate(Primrose Block)
Description: Inter-House Debate(Primrose Block) “Leadership is not about titles, positions, or flowcharts. It is about one life influencing another.” – John C. Maxwell Whitehall School proudly hosted an Inter-House Debate on the thought-provoking topic “Leaders are Born, Not Made.” The event witnessed spirited participation from all four houses, with each house presenting two dynamic speakers – one speaking for the motion and the other against the motion. The competition was graced by our esteemed judges, Ms. Nina Manral and Mr. Ravi Laal, whose presence added prestige to the event. Their keen observation, fair evaluation, and inspiring feedback encouraged participants to strive for excellence. The debate opened with confident and well-prepared speakers putting forth compelling arguments supported by facts, anecdotes, and thought-provoking examples. Fiery rebuttal rounds kept the audience engaged, while the clash of ideas reflected critical thinking, quick wit, and strong communication skills. The event concluded with the judges’ motivating remarks, highlighting the importance of preparation, clarity of thought, and confidence in public speaking. Their words left a lasting impression on the students, encouraging them to harness their potential and grow as future leaders. This debate not only ignited intellectual curiosity and healthy competition but also inspired students to believe that leadership is shaped through learning, experience, and perseverance.
