*Inter-House Board Decoration*
The much-awaited Inter-House Board Decoration was held on 12th July 2025. The event was judged by our respected Director, Mrs. Erickson and our Principal Ms. Manral.
Each house was represented by two students who confidently explained their work to the judges, showcasing deep knowledge and enthusiasm for their chosen continent.
The theme for the competition was “Continents”, with a focus on highlighting heritage sites, flora and fauna, traditional health measures, and other unique aspects of the continent.
Lion House artistically represented the continent of Europe, showcasing famous monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, Leaning Tower of Pisa and iconic food items like pizza, pasta and croissant to name a few. The display included a map of Europe linked to various landmarks, flags of European countries, historical coins, reflecting the continent’s cultural depth and elegance.
Tiger House presented a vibrant board on Australia, featuring the Sydney Harbour, Opera House and marsupials like kangaroos. Portraits of famous Australian cricketers spoke of its rich cricketing history. The board creatively displayed the map of Australia, currencies, traditional aboriginal jewelry, and a tribute to the first President of independent Australia, bringing together Australia’s historical, cultural, and modern achievements.
Falcon House created a visually striking board on Africa, with intricate tribal masks, 3D pyramids and detailed depictions of the Kings of Egypt. Their use of traditional symbols, African medicines and Egyptian wall art highlighted the continent’s ancient heritage and deep-rooted healing traditions.
Eagle House beautifully displayed the diversity of Asia, featuring dance forms, medicinal plants, extinct animals and a model of the Harappan civilization. The board included a map of Asia, flowing rivers and mountain ranges, along with language scripts and flags forming a vibrant background, portraying the continent’s unity in diversity.
The judges appreciated the creativity in all the displays. The students demonstrated teamwork, research skills and a deep understanding of global cultures and health practices. The competition successfully merged art, education, and sustainability, making it a truly inspiring and enriching experience for everyone involved.
