Earth Day Report

On the occasion of Earth Day, our school organized an outdoor activity to promote environmental awareness among students. As part of the activity, two dustbins were placed – one green and one blue – to teach students about waste segregation.

The green dustbin was designated for biodegradable waste, while the blue dustbin was meant for non-biodegradable waste. Students were first educated about the difference between the two types of waste and the importance of proper disposal to protect our environment.

After the explanation, students actively participated by bringing different types of waste and carefully disposing of them in the correct dustbin. This hands-on experience helped them understand the concept of waste segregation and the role it plays in keeping our planet clean and healthy.

Additionally, as a gesture of love and care for nature, the students hugged plants and expressed their gratitude towards them. This simple yet powerful act helped strengthen their emotional connection with nature and highlighted the importance of plants in maintaining ecological balance.

The activity was a great success and helped instill a sense of responsibility towards the environment in a fun and engaging way.
