Description: On 4th February, 2025 the students of Classes 6 A, B, and C from Whitehall School, accompanied by their teachers, visited the Indira Gandhi International Sports Stadium in Gaulapar, Haldwani, to witness an exciting water polo match between Karnataka and West Bengal as part of the 38th National Games hosted by Uttarakhand. The students were excited and thrilled by the energy of the stadium. As the match began, both teams displayed remarkable skill and coordination. Karnataka made an early impact by scoring the first goal, igniting excitement among the spectators. The students cheered loudly as the Karnataka player expertly navigated through the defense and launched a powerful shot into the net. However, West Bengal quickly regained momentum, showcasing exceptional teamwork and strategy. The match intensified as West Bengal launched a series of successful attacks, eventually dominating the game. Their swift movements, precise passes, and strong defensive play kept Karnataka from making a comeback. The students watched in awe as West Bengal extended their lead, ultimately securing victory with a final score of11-3. The visit was a memorable experience for the students, teaching them the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. They returned inspired, carrying valuable lessons from the spirit of national-level competition.
