SANKALP:
Sampoorna Swasthya Awareness Program was conducted at Whitehall School, aimed to
promote healthy lifestyle habits among students of grade IV and their families.
The program focused on key topics such as the importance of a balanced diet,
the harmful effects of junk food, the role of physical activity in maintaining
optimal health, managing screen time effectively, ensuring adequate sleep, and
adopting measures to prevent pollution.Dr. Deepak Pandey, Professor &
Senior Consultant Pediatrician, National Coordinator (Admin) & Joint
National Convener (Scientific), Member - Core Team: SANKALP: Sampoorna Swasthya
national program of IAP, with over 25 years of experience in medical teaching
and training, and Professor of Pediatrics, Founder Vice Chairperson, led the
sessions.As a renowned
health expert, he provided valuable insights and practical strategies for integrating
these habits into daily life.
Parents actively participated alongside their children,
recognizing the significance of creating a supportive home environment to
sustain these healthy practices. Through Dr. Pandey’s expert guidance and
interactive demonstrations, families were encouraged to reflect on their
current habits and inspired to adopt healthier routines collectively. The
inclusive approach of the program not only educated students but also empowered
parents to lead by example. The enthusiastic response from participants
underscored the success ofthe initiative, with many expressing a desire for
similar collaborative programs in the future.
