The Whitehall School witnessed a vibrant exchange of
ideas and intellect during the Intra-School Debate Competition Manthanmanch
held between the Primrose Block and Whitehall Exclusive on 9th October 2025.
The much-anticipated event provided a dynamic platform for young orators to
express, persuade, and inspire.
The debate was a spectacle of insightful
perspectives and lively arguments from both sides. Each team fielded articulate
speakers who spoke with passion, confidence, and conviction—captivating the
audience with their wit, logic, and eloquence.
The event was graced by our Honourable Principal,
Mrs. N. Manral, and our esteemed guests, Mrs. Y. Tiwari and Mrs. S. Joshi,
whose words of wisdom added warmth and motivation to the occasion.
The presence of our respected judges, Mrs. S. Lal
and Mrs. M. Erickson, added gravitas to the event. Their thoughtful
observations, impartial judgment, and valuable feedback motivated participants
to refine their skills and aim higher.
The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as
speakers engaged in sharp rebuttal rounds, defending their stance with quick
thinking and strong reasoning. The audience applauded each compelling point and
clever counter, making the event both intellectually stimulating and
entertaining.
The competition culminated in the announcement of
results, bringing the auditorium alive with excitement and applause.
Preksha Bisht from Whitehall (Primrose Block) and 🏆Janhvi Joshi from Whitehall (Exclusive) were
declared the Best Speakers, while 🏆 Suryansh Barola from Whitehall (Exclusive) earned
the title of Most Promising Speaker and Shivangi Upreti from Whitehall
(Primrose Block) was awarded the prize of Promising Speaker. The award for Best
Content was presented to Vatsal Upadhyay from Whitehall (Primrose Block) and
Gauransh Nagila from Whitehall (Exclusive) was awarded the trophy for Upcoming
Orator.
The judges commended the participants for their
confidence, stage presence, and originality of thought.
Events like these continue to uphold Whitehall
School’s commitment to fostering critical thinking, articulate expression, and
leadership through dialogue—proving once again that great leaders are not only
made in classrooms, but in the courage to voice their ideas.
