Whitehall School, celebrated the National Sports day on 29th August '24 on the grounds of the school. The morning was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere.
The event began with the juniors of grades I to V participating in a great amalgamation of track and field events and some interesting yet fun races. They tested their strength in various events such as the 50 and 100 meters track event, relay race, three-legged race etc.
Next, was the turn of the seniors from grades VI, VII and VIII. The energetic and nimble-footed participants performed and won the various events with flying colours. It was a wonderful display of agility, coordination, strength and stamina by the Whitehallians in various events such as the 100 and 200 meters track events and relay race, for girls and boys.
After this was the turn for the senior section i.e grades IX to XII. These students participated in Inter-house cricket and basketball matches.
It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.
