Inter-House Debate

Whitehall School successfully organized its Inter-House Debate, conducted in both Hindi and English, providing a dynamic platform for students to showcase their eloquence, confidence, and critical thinking abilities. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from all four houses — Tiger, Lion, Eagle, and Falcon.

The Hindi debate took place on 25th July 2025, with the thought-provoking topic:

“क्या नई शिक्षा नीति छात्रों के लिए लाभकारी है?”

Participants delivered compelling arguments, weighing the advantages and challenges of the New Education Policy with depth and insight. After a spirited exchange of ideas, Tiger House was declared the winner.

The English debate was held on 26th July 2025, centered around the topic:

“We should replace paper books with e-books.”

The debate featured a lively and thoughtful discussion on the environmental, educational, and practical implications of transitioning from traditional books to digital formats. Lion House emerged victorious in this segment.

The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Director, Mrs. M. Erickson, and Principal, Ms. Nina Manral, who commended the participants for their articulate delivery, critical reasoning, and stage presence.

Overall, the competition was a resounding success, encouraging intellectual engagement, public speaking, and informed expression among students.
