TREE PLANTATION DRIVE

Whitehall School organized a Tree Plantation Drive for the students of Grade X at Bhakhara Range, Plot No. 16, Khushhalpur (Trai Kendriya Van Prabhag, Rudrapur) at 10:30 a.m.

The programme was led by Mr. Rautela, Range Officer, who enlightened the students about the significance of forests and the importance of tree plantation. He shared the inspiring message, Jangal Hai To Hum Hain, emphasizing the vital role forests play in sustaining life. He also informed the students about the 150-hectare plantation area and stressed the need to preserve and protect nature.

Director Mr. Anant Erickson motivated the students to plant and nurture trees, highlighting their responsibility in creating a greener and more sustainable future. The drive was conducted under the motto of the Uttarakhand Forest Department:

"Har Gaon Ka Yahi Paigam, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam."

The programme successfully instilled a sense of environmental responsibility among the students and inspired them to become active contributors towards environmental conservation and sustainable development.
