Whitehall School organized an educational excursion for its students to the Tarai Central Forest Division, Bhakra Range to spread awareness about Human–Wildlife Conflict and the importance of maintaining harmony between humans and nature.
The session was addressed by the SDO, Mr. Bhatt, and a team from WWF. They informed the students about the causes of human–wildlife conflict, its impact on both people and animals, and the measures that can be taken to stay safe while also protecting wildlife and their natural habitats.
The WWF team shared valuable insights on wildlife conservation and encouraged students to play an active role in protecting the environment. The session was interactive, and students also shared their thoughts on how they can help preserve nature.
