Children’s Day Celebration

The Children’s Day celebration at our school was held with great joy, enthusiasm, and warmth. The programme began on a special note with the teachers conducting the morning assembly. The assembly included the school prayer, pledge, news headlines, a short story, and new vocabulary words—setting a positive and inspiring tone for the day.

Following the assembly, the teachers presented a *soulful musical performance* dedicated especially to the students on the occasion of Children’s Day. Their heartfelt song filled the atmosphere with affection and appreciation for the children.

The next highlight of the celebration was a *humorous skit performed by the teachers*, depicting funny and relatable classroom moments shared between students and teachers. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the light-hearted act, which brought smiles and laughter across the hall.

Adding to the vibrant celebration, the *students of Grade 11 presented a unique musical performance*, where they blended classical singing with a popular nursery rhyme. Their innovative and entertaining rendition made the performance memorable and engaging for everyone.

Our respected Directors, *Mr. and Mrs. Erickson*, then addressed the gathering and extended warm Children’s Day wishes to all students and shared their encouraging thoughts, reminding everyone of the importance of curiosity, kindness, and growth.

The celebration concluded with a special moment as all the student cabinets from the Senior and Primrose blocks were invited to participate in the *cake-cutting ceremony*. This gesture symbolised unity, joy, and the spirit of togetherness among the students.

*Children’s Day celebrates not just childhood, but the boundless potential each child carries within. May we continue to nurture their dreams, guide their steps, and create spaces where they feel valued, heard, and inspired to shine.*
