An educational visit to a bee farm at Pipal Paraw, was organized for the students of Grade 11 on 13th April 2026 with the objective of imparting experiential knowledge about apiculture and the ecological significance of bees.

Upon arrival, the students were received by the farm authorities and introduced to the fundamentals of beekeeping. A guided tour enabled them to closely observe the beehives and understand the structural organization of a bee colony.

The students gained insight into the distinct roles of the queen, worker, and drone bees, along with the life cycle of bees and the systematic process of honey extraction. Emphasis was also laid on the safety protocols and equipment employed in beekeeping practices.

Furthermore, the critical role of bees in pollination and ecological sustainability was highlighted. The interactive session with the beekeepers allowed students to clarify their queries, followed by an opportunity to taste fresh honey.

Overall, the visit proved to be an intellectually enriching experience, fostering environmental awareness and practical understanding among the students.
